The Sezin Post

In 2020, when the word ‘school’ took on a new meaning overnight for everyone and remote learning became a part of our lives, the question that Sezin’s innovative educators asked themselves was ‘How do we create belonging with the newest members of our community in a remote setting?’ That is how ‘The Sezin Post’ was born, out of a need to foster meaningful connection with kindergarten and first-grade students, by bringing pieces of school to home as a way to supplement the hybrid education system. The project was a joint effort by the Sezin community (teachers, students, parents) and the Atolye team.  was happy to provide art direction and establish the visual language for this unique and meaningful endeavor.

The project won an  iF DESIGN  Award 2022 - one of the most prestigious design awards worldwide. My journey with Sezin School started way back in 2016. Over the years, it has been a joy to create the school’s environmental graphics system along with playful characters to foster a sense of belonging and connection within the community.
